Papyrus River is a mural wallpaper inspired by The River Rug, an early-1900s work by C. F. A. Voysey. Originally painted on a papyrus paper, it introduces the appearance of texture on the wall. The whimsical mural depicts winding rivers framed by trees, bridges, mills, and Voysey House — now home to our studio.
This wallpaper comprises of 3 x 118" drops - Mural on a roll
This design is made up of three 118"-high and 27.01"wide drops of wallpaper supplied and printed as one continuous roll measuring 81" in width.
The individual drops are indicated by a cutline for ease of hanging. This wallcovering is printed digitally onto a non-woven base, which is strong and flexible, allowing the wall to be pasted rather than the substrate itself. The wallcovering can be tailored to room height by removing any excess from the top and/or bottom of each length. To achieve the best result, we recommend the use of a professional installer experienced in hanging wide-width papers.
